Muna Ali holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and is a certified Occupational Safety and Health professional (NEBOSH IGC). She has over 18 years of experience in inspection, workplace compliance, and social compliance assessments. For the past 11 years, she has worked with the ILO Better Work Programme, leading factory assessments and advisory services that support factories and workers in improving compliance and reducing gaps, alongside capacity-building initiatives for garment factories, manufacturing sectors, and other stakeholders. Her expertise covers national labour legislation, social security and registration requirements, occupational safety and health, and international labour standards, with a focus on the ILO Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. She is also an experienced trainer, delivering programmes on grievance mechanisms, supervisory skills, workplace communication, OSH investigations, and other workplace soft skills.

She has led comprehensive factory assessments — evaluating compliance with international labour standards and national legislation — and provided tailored advisory support to help factories identify gaps and implement practical, sustainable improvement plans. Her work has supported enterprises in strengthening compliance systems and advancing responsible business practices. Rand holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and is NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) certified. Her expertise lies in driving continuous improvement through evidence-based assessments and hands-on advisory, contributing to better working conditions across Jordan's garment industry.
